MaSCo, which will be held for the twenty-sixth time this year at Marmara University School of Medicine, is a student congress that encourages students to conduct scientific research and provides a platform for the presentation of their work.
MaSCo is a Marmara Medicine tradition; students of Marmara University Faculty of Medicine serve up the results of their research projects, which carried under the supervision of their faculty members. This process is a part of the medical faculty education program. This scientific tradition started in 2001. In the following years, the Introduction to the Clinical Practice program, which was a part of the first three-year curriculum of Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, provided a suitable environment for the flourishing and development of MaSCo seeds with its research component.
Since the first MaSCo, student research has been presented through posters and oral presentations, and numerous conferences, panels, and workshops have been held. Our congress hosts over 150 scientific studies from our faculty, alongside numerous research projects and presentations from external participants, welcoming guests from many different medical schools.
The twenty-sixth edition of our congress will be held this year with an anticipated attendance of approximately 1000 participants, featuring a scientific program that includes research presentations and conferences by our distinguished speakers, workshops in various fields, and a social program designed to provide participants with an enjoyable experience.
