Specialist Dr. Atilla Uslu, MD (Stethoscope and Strategy: From Medical School to TUS Success)
Specialist Dr. Atilla Uslu, MD, is a physician and educator specialized in Internal Medicine and Hematology, also well known for his contributions to TUS (Medical Specialty Exam) preparation training programs. Born in 1987, he graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2012. In the same year, he achieved remarkable success by ranking 2nd in Turkey in the clinical sciences section of the TUS exam, marking a strong start to his academic career. Following his medical education, Dr. Uslu pursued specialization in Internal Medicine and became an Internal Medicine specialist in 2017. He later focused on Hematology as a subspecialty and completed his training, becoming a Hematology specialist in 2021. During his education, he also gained international experience through an internship at the University of Maryland, where he observed different healthcare systems, contributing to his professional development. He has been actively involved in scientific research, including leading one of the first projects in Turkey on chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy in 2015. This work reflects his interest in innovative and transformative immunotherapy approaches in modern hematology. In clinical practice, he emphasizes evidence-based and up-to-date treatment strategies to provide optimal care for his patients.
Since 2013, Dr. Uslu has been teaching Internal Medicine to students preparing for the TUS exam. He is widely followed for his systematic teaching style, clinical reasoning-based approach, and exam-oriented strategies. His educational philosophy emphasizes understanding over memorization. After 2020, he rapidly adapted to digital education platforms, expanding his reach through Tıpdemy, Dr. Dahiliye, and YouTube. Through lectures, case analyses, and question-solving sessions, he aims to improve both theoretical knowledge and exam performance of students. Additionally, he provides training on the use of artificial intelligence tools in medicine for physicians, contributing to the integration of technology and medical education.
