1. The deadline for active registration and submission of abstracts is Friday, April 24th, 2026, at 09:00 PM (GMT+3).<\/p>\n

2. Our congress language is Turkish. Presentations and abstracts in English will also be accepted, depending on the researcher's preference.<\/p>\n

3.\tOur congress is not organized on a specific theme, there is no subject restriction.<\/p>\n

4.\tOnly original researches will be accepted. Case reports, case series, reviews, meta-analyses, and lecture-type studies will not be accepted.<\/p>\n

5.\tAbstracts should be arranged in the form of Introduction and Aim, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusion, and Keywords. You can find the details of the rules that have to be followed down below and review the abstract example suitable for this format.<\/p>\n

6.\tAbstracts should not exceed 300 words, excluding the title and the name of the researchers.<\/p>\n

7.\tAbstracts will be sent to mascobildirim@gmail.com in Turkish or English. The name of the study should be written in the subject line of the mail. The file name should be arranged in such a way as to indicate the name of the participant who will make the presentation. In addition, please include your telephone and e-mail addresses at the end of the abstract file so that we can get back to you for corrections.<\/p>\n

8. Participants who wish to apply for any award during abstract submission must fill out the relevant award application form. Abstracts not applying for an award will be placed in sessions deemed appropriate by the Evaluation Board.<\/p>\n

9. Please indicate your preferred presentation type (poster or oral presentation) below your abstract. The Evaluation Board may request changes to the presentation format of studies submitted as oral or poster presentations.<\/p>\n

10. Oral presentations will be grouped under the categories of \"Basic Sciences,\" \"Clinical Sciences,\" and \"Observational\" research; poster presentations will be grouped under the themes of \"Patients and Diseases\" and \"Public Health and Determinants of Health.\" All research will be evaluated by expert juries, and awards will be given to the winning groups in each category.<\/p>\n

11. Ethical committee approval will be required for research conducted on living organisms.<\/p>\n

12. Oral presentations must be planned not to exceed 10 minutes <\/strong>.. <\/strong>The discussion time with the jury following the presentations has been set at 5 minutes.<\/strong>The presentation must be delivered by one or two group members. During the discussion with the jury, all group members must be present in the hall. An example of an oral presentation can be found in the Terms of Participation section.<\/p>\n

13. Groups presenting their research as posters must prepare their posters with dimensions of 50*70cm.<\/strong> Group members must attend the congress with a printed version of the poster in the same dimensions. Poster presentations must not exceed 7 minutes, <\/strong>..<\/strong> followed by a\u00a03-minute discussion<\/strong> with jury members. The presentation must be delivered by one or two group members. During the discussion, all group members must be present in the hall. *A poster presentation example can be found in the Terms of Participation section.<\/p>\n

14. Abstracts accepted to the congress will be included in MaSCo Abstract Booklet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

15. Participants who attend at least three of our five conferences will receive a passive participation certificate, while those who present a research submission will receive an active participation certificate. All certificates will be delivered via email.<\/p>\n

*Being present in the hall is not mandatory for all research members of the groups who are external participants.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

MaSCo'26 ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Abstracts should be arranged in the form of Introduction and Aim, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusion, and Keywords. You can review the abstract example suitable for this format.<\/li>\n
  2. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words, excluding the title and the name of the researchers.<\/li>\n
  3. Abstracts will be sent to mascobildirim@gmail.com in Turkish or English. The name of the study should be written in the subject line of the mail. The file name should be arranged in such a way as to indicate the name of the participant who will make the presentation.   4. State the type of presentation you want to make (poster or oral presentation) at the end of your abstract. It may be requested by the Assessment Authority to make changes in the presentation options of the researches sent as oral or poster presentations.<\/li>\n
  5. A space must be left after all punctuation marks.<\/li>\n
  6. Avoid using abbreviations in the abstract, all abbreviations should be stated in the first place (in parentheses) mentioned in the abstract. It can be expressed just as an abbreviation in the following sections. \u201cMarmara University (MU) \u2026\u2026\u2026.. 15 people at MU\u201d<\/li>\n
  7. Do not include references in the abstract.<\/li>\n
  8. The abstract title should reflect the study. The whole title of the research should be written with CAPITAL LETTERS.<\/li>\n
  9. Author names should be written as \u201cSurname A.\u201d. The researchers who have more than one name should write their names as \u201cSurname A.B.\u201d. The order of the names should be written according to the contribution to the research.<\/li>\n
  10. Institutions should be indicated with (*) after each author's name, and different institutions should be written by increasing the number of stars. Institutions should be represented below the authors.<\/li>\n
  11. In the Introduction and Aim section,<\/u> the problem should be stated, and the aim of the study should be specified.<\/li>\n
  12. In the Materials and Methods section,<\/u> the study methodology should be clearly described, materials should be defined and suitable for collecting the intended data, necessary descriptive information should be provided, the formation of any control group should be specified, and the significance threshold and applied statistical methods should be explained.<\/li>\n
  13. In the Results section,<\/u> the significant findings of the research should be stated with numerical data. Their significance levels should be indicated in parentheses (e.g., p<0.05).<\/li>\n
  14. In the Conclusion section,<\/u> the importance of the results intended to be emphasized in the research and mentioned in the findings should be written; a summary of the findings should not be provided.<\/li>\n
  15. At least three keywords should be listed in the abstracts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
