Dr. Adsay who has been graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 1988, specialized in pathology in New York Lenox Hill Hospital. After completing a specialization in pathology, Dr. Adsay mastered oncologic pathology and surgical pathology. Dr. Adsay has been named in Best Doctors of America, Top Doctors of America, and Who’s Who In Science lists. In 2017, he was the head of the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology. Apart from that, Dr. Volkan Adsay was the first president of the International Pancreatobiliary Pathology Society where he took part in the foundation. He pioneered the definition, diagnosis, and treatment of many cancers, especially in the pancreas and biliary system. Dr. Adsay was a nominee for the leading researchers list about pathology by ABD Stanford University and for medical doctors researching in Turkey. He wrote more than 15 chapters about the classification of tumors in World Health Organisation books. We will be together with Dr. Volkan Adsay on 27 May 2022 Friday.
